National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFCs) are vital platforms for institutional coordination and stakeholders' consultation on the planning and implementation of successful trade facilitation reforms.
Therefore, to ensure interagency coordination, cooperation, and quick response in times of crisis and pandemic our work focuses on to assist NTFCs to implement, in a coordinated manner, trade facilitation reforms, including the provisions of the Agreement on Trade Facilitation of the World Trade Organization.
In addition, a set of online courses on trade facilitation have been developed, aiming to ensure the simplification and facilitation of cross-border trade and transport operations relating to emergency and crisis management.
